Kurt Chan

Full-Stack Developer / Systems Engineer

I build production web apps end to end — from pixel-perfect interfaces to the servers they run on. Three years shipping for universities, enterprises, and my own products, with a systems engineering background that means I understand the whole stack, not just the code.

About Me

Kurt Chan

My path started with design, not code. I taught myself Photoshop and Illustrator in high school and took on real client work — then Computer Science introduced me to web development, and I realized I didn't have to choose between the two.

Since graduating I've worked as a full-stack developer building and maintaining production systems, and taught Computer Science part-time — explaining code to students makes you much better at writing it.

I started with Angular, moved to React as demand grew, and today my go-to stack is React + Tailwind on the front, Laravel on the back, and Ionic for mobile.

Off the clock: single-player games, system design deep-dives, cycling, and running. Based in the Philippines.
